There are approximately 80 Inverse ETFs and 25 inverse ETNs. These are instruments that go up when a target market goes down, and vice versa. There are Inverse Bond, Commodity, Currency and Equity ETFs, but practically speaking there are only about 27 that trade more than 100,000 shares a day.

Most Inverse ETFs with significant volume are leveraged, however, so you will find those in our Leveraged ETF listing.
